Before mobilisation
Close design-critical queries, agree design responsibility, survey, delivery arrangements and the release sequence. Design and RAMS approval precede erection.

THE EVIDENCE BEHIND THE RETURN
Our AI-assisted workflow helps examine the drawing, quantify the scope and expose questions. Our estimating team challenges the basis and reviews the return. Explore the stages below.
NEWELL-SAMPLE-01 / REV A
Illustrative overlays explain the take-off method. The website is not measuring an uploaded drawing or providing a scaffold design.
FOLLOW A QUANTITY
1,152 m²2 × (30 + 18) = 96 m perimeter. 96 × 12 = 1,152 m².
The plan dimensions are stated in the sample. The 12 m tender height is an assumption, carried into TQ01. It is not an approved scaffold height.
A reference, a question, a tender basis and an effect on the package. The six open points remain qualified in the sample return.
Please confirm the maximum scaffold height, roof-edge access requirement and surveyed ground levels on every elevation.
SAMPLE-01 / SAMPLE-02; L01
Please provide ground and roof bearing information, allowable tie locations, substrate details and the temporary works design responsibilities.
L01 / L02 / L03 / L07 / L08
Please confirm the 12 × 6 m footprint, 4 m deck-height basis and that the requirement is access to the soffit rather than structural support.
SAMPLE-01; L02
Please confirm materials, maximum loading, bay dimensions, workforce numbers, access routes and the required stair positions.
L04 / L05 / L07
Please confirm the required hire period, the start of the hire clock and whether all elevations need access from the first handover.
L06 / L09; sample programme
Please confirm unloading, storage, carrying routes, permitted working hours and separation from building users and the public.
Sample logistics brief; L01–L05
Please provide facade junctions, build-up depths and the glazing/cladding sequence, including changes to the working-face gap.
L01; option O01
Please confirm netting specification, exposure, public interfaces and whether separate fans, encapsulation or temporary weather protection are required.
L07 / L10
16 weeks in the structure lines, plus four planned weeks shown separately. Options are identified outside the base.
Illustrative prices, not a rate card or offer. L07 is a provisional sum within the base. Adaptations and additional access or inspection options are separate.
Close design-critical queries, agree design responsibility, survey, delivery arrangements and the release sequence. Design and RAMS approval precede erection.
Planned front/side erection, access and first sectional handover. The whole-package 20-week hire clock starts at that first handover.
Remaining elevations, canopy access and roof enclosure, subject to each support and area release. Loading bay and access interfaces coordinated with trades.
Scheduled inspection visits, recorded instructions and agreed adaptations. Checks after events or alterations are arranged as required.
Illustrative seven-working-day strike, following written release and an agreed sequence. Remove netting, close records and agree any outstanding changes.
PUT A QUESTION TO THE PACKAGE
Explore the questions our estimating team can put to the adviser. Select an example to inspect the reasoning, qualification and next action.
Prepared responses for this worked sample. This is an interactive walkthrough, not a live AI chat or an output from a real project.
Where does the façade quantity come from?
CALCULATEDThe sample plan gives two 30 m faces and two 18 m faces. Their combined perimeter is 96 m. L01 uses a 12 m tender height.
ASSUMPTIONThe height has not been confirmed. TQ01 asks for surveyed levels and the access requirement. A 1 m change across the perimeter changes the area by 96 m², with the method and price also subject to review.
Adviser proposes. Newell reviews and signs off the live tender.
This interactive sample uses illustrative drawings, quantities, prices and prepared adviser responses. It demonstrates the workflow; it is not live AI analysis, an issued quotation or a scaffold design.

THE RESPONSIBILITY STAYS WITH NEWELL
The point is a better scaffolding appointment: a package your QS can compare, a programme your site team can challenge and unresolved details raised before they become surprises.
Ask us to show the same reasoning on your next tender.
Separate drawing dimensions, calculations and assumptions. Keep the source and revision with the quantity.
Review sequence, hire and trade interfaces. Compare the whole package and retain the required safety provisions.
A named estimator checks the scope, price, qualifications and return. Technical design and site-release requirements remain explicit.
GIVE US THE BRIEF. PUT US TO THE TEST.
Send us the drawings, the programme and the awkward details. Let us show you what a Newell tender can do.
